I am reading this early in the morning. There is something calm about the morning alright. There is such a contrast between the hustle and bustle of mid-day on the beach and the quiet of the morning when all you hear is waves gently crashing and an occasional squawk of a seagull.
One time when we were at the beach, we all got up early before the sun was out and set up easels to paint the sunrise. You might want to try that next time.
I’m glad you got to see dolphins. That’s always fun. And I know dolphins have been a long-time favorite of yours.

What a great picture of the dolphins! I’ve been trying all summer to get a shot like that (and haven’t yet – even in the morning). Next time I’ll be brave enough to jump in the water too!
